Why Join the Trailboss Club?

TrailBoss Club Membership Guide

Launch memberships at each new TrailBoss location lock your price for life. Transferable once to an immediate family member or a named friend when a TrailBoss guide is along for the ride (conditions apply).

Founders’ Bonus: Fuel is included for your first year (first 300 founder signups; details in member portal).

1 — Why a Membership Beats Ownership

Typical ownership costs Approx. monthly
SxS loan payment $450+
Trailer loan / lease $150–200
Insurance (SxS + trailer) $150–200
Truck, fuel, storage, maintenance, wash bay, repairs, security… Priceless headaches

Add it up and you’re well over $750 every month—before you even leave the driveway.

A TrailBoss® membership wraps machines, trailers, storage, maintenance, insurance, training, and post-ride wash-downs into one predictable fee. Book online, show up, ride—leave the hard work to us.

The hidden costs of owning a SxS

  • Financing & credit score requirements + interest
  • Trailer purchase/lease or rentals; trailer parking (condo/apt restrictions)
  • Secure parking/storage for the SxS; HOA/strata rules
  • Cleaning logistics: pressure washer or car wash (time & cost)
  • Insurance for SxS and trailer; security/theft/fire risk
  • Towing fuel costs when pulling a trailer
  • Tires, maintenance, repairs
  • Gear & accessories: helmets, comms, spares, recovery gear

What TrailBoss covers for you

  • Machines, trailers & secure storage
  • Maintenance & repairs handled
  • Insurance & safety program
  • Post-ride wash-downs (no pressure washer needed)
  • Training + skills check; certificates included
  • Recovery support network
  • Online booking + member-only time windows
  • Founders’ Year 1: fuel included (first 300 founder signups); after Year 1, fuel is billed at cost.

2 — How It Works

  1. Online Training & Skills Check (Required): All driving members must complete the BC Forestry Learning Center (BC Forest Safe) online course and watch the TrailBoss Orientation Video (link in portal) before their first booking. Upload your certificate/video attestation to your driver profile in the member portal or bring proof on arrival. Experienced riders take a quick on-trail assessment.
  2. Book Your MachineAll bookings are made online in the member portal. • Reserve SxSs, ATVs, boats, snow rigs, or dirt bikes. • Blackout dates apply during peak tourist seasons and main business hours; early-morning and evening windows are member-only. • Season-pass prepay does not override blackout periods. • Members in the Member Rig Program can book their personalized unit; when you’re not booked, it may be allocated to visiting members or TrailBoss Experience sessions (per calendar).
  3. Pick Up & Play: arrive, present a valid driver’s license, sign a digital waiver, grab your gear—GoPro-style cameras included—and hit the trail or water. • Every unit includes a Pingy GPS beacon; if you need help, tap Assist in the portal or radio us and a TrailBoss will be dispatched.

Vetted Training Program Vetted

If you’re an experienced off-roader, we’ll verify your skills quickly:
  • Online test covering safety, limits, and etiquette.
  • On-trail assessment to confirm real-world competence.
  • Certificates included with every membership: BC Forest Off-Road & TrailBoss certificates issued upon completion.
  • Once approved, machines are available to book under your account.
  • Rig preferences & mod wishlist: add accessories/updates in your profile; we’ll match builds when feasible.

Booking & Blackout Windows

  • All bookings are online; your usage hours track automatically.
  • Blackout dates cover peak tourist seasons and core business hours.
  • Member priority: early mornings and evenings have reservable member-only slots.

Exact blackout dates are published in the portal calendar.

On-Trail Support & Recoveries

  • Pingy beacon in every unit for live location and status pings.
  • No-injury incidents: the nearest TrailBoss is dispatched to secure the site and recover you while formal recovery/tow is arranged.
  • Contact us via radio or tap Assist in the member portal; remain with your unit unless it’s unsafe.
  • Fees: Included for Racing Incubator (no-charge recoveries, fair-use). Standard recovery rates apply for other plans.

Fishing & Angling Policy

  • License required: Members must carry a valid fishing license for the local jurisdiction/waterbody. Guides will verify for ice-fishing tours.
  • Gear & tackle: Bring your own fishing gear and tackle unless a specific event lists loaners.
  • Safety: PFDs/life jackets are supplied for club watercraft; follow local regulations, seasons, and catch limits.
Plus fuel: included for Founders’ Year 1 (first 300 founder signups); after Year 1, billed at cost. Helmets, life-jackets, recovery gear, and wash-downs are included.

  • Live pings, route breadcrumbs, hazard markers, and SOS/Assist.
  • Geo-fencing & check-ins for skills-matched zones.
  • Planned partner integrations for training verification and safe-rider programs.

Kickback for Members

As long as you’re an active club member, you’re a Pingy Kickback Member — eligible for member rebates/credits and program distributions when available (per program terms).
