Frequently asked questions
What does the $616.10/month membership include?
Access to Trackboss (track) or Trailboss (dirt) programs, scheduled race/practice days, initial merch pack (jacket, hat, T-shirt), eligibility for member pricing on packages, and participation in member votes on schedule/format. Venue rules, waivers, and safety requirements apply.
Can I join both Trackboss and Trailboss? Are there bundle discounts?
Yes. You can hold both memberships. We plan multi-membership discounts for Trackboss + Trailboss bundles (details TBD at launch).
How does the racing format work?
Primarily time-trial (hot-lap) for safety and fairness, with like-platform classes (e.g., 1000cc NA separate from turbo/supercharged; electric/Sierra scored independently). Standardized upgrades promote parity so driver skill decides. The format may evolve with member feedback.
How are prize pots funded and how big are they?
Purses are funded by driver entry fees, spectator door fees, and sponsors. Local clubs can set their own pot/entry amounts. We intend to run large prize-money headliners and season points prize winnings, announced pre-season.
What are the drop-in and spectator prices?
Drop-in driver (non-full member): $99/event. Spectators: $25/day. Spectator season pass (adult): $400. Kids ≤13 on race days: Free. We plan two race events per month.
What safety and damage policies apply?
Graduated licenses/modes govern speed and access. Tech inspections ensure compliance. There is a $2,500 incident deductible per event. Waivers are required. A full-time club mechanic uses OEM-equivalent or better parts, and spare units reduce downtime.
Are sessions recorded? Can I buy my footage?
Yes. All race units are recorded for marketing/content. Rental video card packages are available for purchase. Participation includes a standard media release (minors need guardian consent). Opt-out where legally required.
How does the 50% profit sharing work?
Full club members receive 50% dividends from net profit on retail motor-unit rentals, and Founders receive 50% net profit from Pingy™. Distributions are scheduled; amounts depend on actual profitability and are not guaranteed.
Where will I drive? Is Thunder Mtn included?
We plan club racing at Thunder Mtn (venue/permits TBD) plus a growing network of TB clubs and private resorts, race tracks, OHV parks, lakes, and trail systems. Programs are year-round where conditions permit.
What vehicles and bonus experiences are available?
Sierra cars (dirt & street), SxS/RZRs, ATVs, dirt bikes, mini boats, snowmobiles, jet skis—plus bonus units like SeaBreacher, Swamp Rider, and aerial drone experiences (availability varies by venue/event).
Do you offer a couples/family pass or 2‑up riding?
Yes. We offer a Double‑occupancy (2‑up) option for $616.10/mo for two riders sharing a designated 2‑seat unit (ATVs, snowmobiles, personal watercraft) during 2‑up sessions, and a Couples/Family Pass for $888/mo for partners/families who want more scheduling flexibility. All riders must complete waivers and safety briefings; availability varies by venue.
